Dakota Wesleyan University was founded in 1885 in Mitchell, S.D., as a four-year liberal arts college. In 2009, DWU adopted a three-college system: the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Healthcare, Fitness and Sciences, and the College of Leadership and Public Service. We just celebrated our 125 anniversary with a Blue & White Bash at the World’s Only Corn Palace with the Village People performing! Jeff Olson, the “Cowboy” is a 1975 DWU alumnus!
